It’s time for the Annual Fool’s Parade!
Join us as we frolic through downtown Occidental, led by the Hub Bub Club. To participate in the parade, meet up at the Occidental Community Center at 12:30 PM. The parade starts at 1 PM and winds from the Community Center to the Occidental Lodge and back, ending at Occidental Center for the Arts for the Fool’s Party! If you’re visiting our town to watch the parade, be advised we will close the streets at 12:30 PM so plan to arrive and get settled early! Everyone is invited to follow the parade to OCA for the Fool’s Party - a free community event.
James Earley Funk Revue
Enjoy foolish festivities at OCA following the parade until 4pm, including live music by the James Earley Funk Band, Punch and Judy Puppet Show by Piccolo Puppet Theatre, performers from Big Fun Circus, Giant Bubbles, Kids’ Art Zone, clowns, great food & beverages, beer and wine and more!

The winners of the SILLIEST COSTUME contest will be announced at 2:45 PM, with $100 given for best adult costume and $50 for best youth costume.
